Toys are Us too! And 2 heroes
here too.
2 begin with we have a little bonnie girl and her brother
and their house and the rain.
The atmosphere takes a turn from the house garden garages to
the fair and then some!
Many atmospheric scenic views on the big screen of this
movie, including the wonderful world of the magical emporium so to speak; it is
in fact a caravan filled fun film.
We move with the
roaming family from fair to the antique shop curiosity store with its’ Pinocchio
style characters.
The horror begins with the dolls and the talking puppets and
ends with them too, but for the two characters of the horrific and cute ‘loonies’:
rabbit and duck bird also and 2!
The comic latter duo mesmerises us with their double acts as
they follow suits. From action to action scene that is.
From atmospheres, to characters of multi-coloured rainbow dolls
and guy dolls, we roam the country and fair, towards the antique store; where
the intrigue thickens…
Basically, the ‘Woody’ and ‘sfork’ characters are looking
for adventure and freedom perhaps or are they, whilst the horror like ‘dolls’ of
all types maybe conflicted about ownership by humans too and 2.
One doll in particular leans towards a family home, whilst
the others are on chase and in pursuit of something at all times, and God know
why and what. Spoofy and spooky fun filled merry go round pf a movie though -filled
with candy-like chasing scenic views!
‘Woody’ and the creative ‘sfork’
may have to go back home, or will they? Creative fun and creations of the
bonnie lass on screen, in a fork, spoon, and ‘wedlock’ knife!! Will the knife
propose or what? And where, not why.
The story is filled with crystal clear sheep, pretty peep dolls, and
potato heads of old. Not forgoing or forgetting the red head cowgirl calamity Jane
and her space friends/fiendish friend the spaceman…2 Story 4…TO BE CONTINUED…
OR YES PLEASE in TOY STORY $ TO 5.

Monster Mayhem and Magic -X Men in Black Style too/2..Cool.Full Stop.
Men in Black and White—‘Matrix’ mode.
The latest spoof of a non-comic scenario features monsters
of all kinds and sizes. Shaped from shells of soft and ‘malleables’ to hard
edges of spiky hedgehog materials, in styles of bars and clubs.
The settings take us from small monster to big, into the
world of bars and nightclubs, reminiscent of the Star Wars scenes of hybrids
and humans mingling.
The guns are the weapons but so is the stone and gem.
The monster relics relish the fight and gun scenes as much
as we do it seems, as the hero and heroine join forces discovering the
stones/stone of power and protection. Everyone is fighting for the precious
stone including the bounty hunter and her side kick monster who -the latter
that is- happens to be an old friend of the heroine; here lies one of the
surprises of many in this monstrously cool and colourful movie.
Her story line is about her courage to join the forces of
the men and women in black, and his story is to find the courage too. Both joining
hands to go through the secure channels or not as the case may be and find the
culprit. Is it a hidden agent or a bounty hunter? Who is to blame and who
dunnit? Is it a friendly ‘monster’ or a foe in disguise? Who is after the stone
and the power we wonder…
Watch out for the ’24 series styled’ discovery of strategy,
or looking for clues scenes, as well as for the end parts of dyno dragon action
style horrific ending: mega big screen hollow ending of getting lost in a
vortex of slushy squishy stuff!
Who will win the day and stone in the end?
All planets included in this scenario of a bravado of a fun
fair filled production.
Film viewers everywhere, is the stone the key to destruction
or protection in your view-s?
Music hats on too for the slow jazzy slightly but mostly
electric score of music, in comparison with the film reviewed just before this
one where the music is more blues and rock but not as alien to us perhaps? The
music in this particular film seems a bit strange all in all!
Familiar notes and new ones.

Dark and Light Shadows and Clear Blue Skies
Dark Phoenix: X Man and X Woman Style.
Heavenly flights take us into the movie magic world of this
latest sequel.
The phoenix is an out of bounds out of control powerful
weapon unleashing ‘itself’ into the world of both the mutants and the ‘muggles’.
The human world does not feature in this epic production as much as the mutant
world of hybrids does.
The characters are the same but not the actors, and range
from blues to monstrous amphibians. The main personage is the scarred with fire
phoenix lady with the power to destroy with a flic of her hand and a blink of
her mind.
Her scars are on the outside too: she is fearful of her own
powers we imagine, as well as being a threat to her peers and to her protecting
colleagues -at the school of ‘magic and mayhem.’
Her scars are fiery red and yellowy fire inside her skin, as
she copes with her emotions and controls her powerful urges.
The mind reader with his steely helmet is the usual bold and
bold courageous leader trying to keep his team in order. The opposing faction
of the steel mover -who bends steel not minds in his latter case- is also after
the treasure of the phoenix so to say…
Will they one and all, blue or not, as mutant buddies manage
to bring her back from her urges of destruction and from her vortex void of black
and fiery coloured outbursts, or will they fail to?
In the meantime, the other leading lady is a vortex in her
own right of laser modern moonlight electrical and electrocuting energy, as she
fights through. Will they merge their powers as two leading X women in their own right? Or will they fight?
The setting is the special effect: in other words, and so to
speak: the special effects are the setting.
The black disintegration shots and the cuts from fire bolts
to jolts and jumps make the movie set and setting disintegrate our minds and
cells. Mind blowing movie writing and imaging of animation
and inanimatrix.
We wonder at the wonder of the blue monster not featuring
much in this featurette, and at the other blue leading lady from the ‘Hunger Games’ being dead end not featuring much
neither or either!!
We twilight
out of this review, phoenix style too! Back
Soonish,
