Degeneration>Generation..

<Light and Darkness Within.

The latest 'Last Jedi' wars of Good versus Darkness movie, is filled with new techniques of editing.

Although the story line follows similar tracks, the 'baddies' and 'goodies' seem to be more haZy as time of sequels go and goes by.

The red laZer king tries to meet the blue new main lady Jed-half way, but for his father’s fears and mistakes in the past towards him.

In terms of the story, it is definitely worth watching for its nuances too!..

Legacy Tree? 'Discoveree': sequel number?
Blood to Blood in family trees, and in scenes too and tree?

The newer generations of Jedis, try to meet half way, but the evil doers degenerate soul wise when faced as they are with the Light of others within.

From the generation/degeneration graphic techniques, to the elevation content/style soul scenes, this film is across the board effective.

~~Ripple effects are also a popular scenic side of this ever popular production..
~~~
From water ripples, to mirror rippling passages leading to past and future discoveries, this film takes us from one present technique to the next, and from one discovery of story content to the next.
No repetitive repertoires much but for:
The hand is quicker than the eye, as the Jedis mesmerize us with their growing telekinetic powerful abilities.
Shimmering palms and rings on fingers, lead us from one (fight) scene to the next-more or less.
The ripples and shimmers, take us from earth to sky and back, in 60 seconds or less -or around there-, as they say in movie land.
Close ups, and head shots, and slippage stunts –a few not many in the latter case-, are a huge part of the ins and outs of this film -literally:
Ins and Outs, in terms of the ships of flying space invaders too (as well as in terms of the mirror passages, by the by).
And finally: camera/action wise: two sets of creatures: the imaginatively created ‘speedies’, and the quite original crystal creatures -made of glass-, feature in the latest Star Wars ‘Last’ but not least film of Lucas.
3Ds on. DDD; happy glasses wearers!!!
Continuity -Film Junkies- Jumanji Style..
Decoupage you later in this epic adventure.
Jumanji is another successful film maker’s 'Paradiso' due to the following elements:
Decoupage of elemental scenes: you will see what I m e a n.
And not just decoupage of scenes and of the elements of water and fire (mainly), in this scenic production, lead by the wondrous acting of the Scorpio King 'scorpion' of all movie stars, but also:
The characters are wonderfully depicted in a specific ‘Cluedo’ stylish way (decoupage too!).
The adventurers are gathered -Indie Jones style- in order to return a stone to its rightful atmospheric place and to break a rotten scoundrel's curse.
Will they make it in time, in this nature filled -deserted or not- forest of a thick course of barriers and slopes and slides, or will they be 'GAME OVER'?
They skip from wild animal fighters cuts to cuts, to dreaded cuts..
The gaming nature of this Nature lovers' film is evident in the many action and stunt scenes -
especially:
Watch out for the portals in the movie, as you fall and rise from mini adventure to mini adventure, with the players playing alongside you, remote control style too!
They focus on perspective as they see you through their bird watching telescopic camera eye, looking at you through the big screen, as you look into their characters’ eyes.
Can you spot the difference between the various individuals' costumes (the design motifs especially), corresponding to the respective motivations of each of the unique players?
The game is afoot again but not the same at ALL!
Format You Later
Who invented Christmas?
Scrub up and brush up -lads and ladies-
Season’s greetings, and tidings of joyful times spent during the generous helpings of this 'filmic' pudding.
Put on your Sunday suits ‘puddings’ for the latest ‘Scrooge’ adaptation of Dickens’s: ‘please sirs can we have some more and madams too.’ Film wise that is.
Wink, wink.
'The man who invented Christmas' has a Charles Dickens conversation with Scrooge.
Story time children of all ages as actors succeed in bringing the old time favorite to life.
Good acting and moody broody settings all round.
The background is authentic upper lip; from the tea cups to the table settings.
The dress code is formal and romantic; complimenting the lit up colorful tree of seasonal greeting.
You have to see it to live it as they say.
The mood is one of past to future and back to the present -in a twist ending of 'Oliver Twist' proportions.
Little ones survive and Scrooge turns into the most loving of all.
Dickens wanted this ending, and the round table characters come round in the end -as they say.
This movie mood is one of horror settings, at times, as well as of the popular Holmes/Poirot classics, in general.
Detection below:
‘All suspects please round up for final countdown of truthful 'denouement' at the end line.’
The past is the ephemeral ghost of icy cold woman: the jealous Medusa.
Memories haunt.
The present is the jolly father Christmas faun of nature: father nature suspended on cloud nine.
'Memoires' of the happening in the here and now. It gets better.
The future is much brighter; albeit it starts from the ground up -camera wise too.
Scrooge does not want to be buried in damp cold, 'greyish' soil. He survives! It's alive!
He makes the right decision -along with Dickens- as his writing creator.
The writing is on the wall.
The death eater 'future ghost' disappears into the melting background of the happy ending.
One more thing as Colombo would say: very apt use of camera work -from the ground up- for both past and present ghost depictions -mainly-, and in 'filmic' process.
Agree in my opinion about the 'future death like ghost' being filmed from the side and back; as that particular dark side ends.
The future bleaks out and fades into a colourful and happy ending.
