Blue 'Runner' in the 'Maze' sequel.

Blue 'Runner' in the 'Maze' sequel.

'Blue haze' sequels are timeless! Not because of being hazy or blue and sad, but because of being effectively special effects filled.

The latest 'Runner' film, projects us with screen flashes of 'blues' and of shady hughes of 'Hades' reds.
In other words, the scenes within jump without and out of the screen at 'ya', and shimmer and flash in and out of contrasting effects of two:
-mainly the explosive fight and chase scene effects of fiery inferno reds and yellows and oranges…and, on the second hand, the watery like scene effects of 'Neptunian' windy futuristic objectively depicted objects, like flying ships and window sky high falling buildings.

The only missing thing in this scenario, is the plot, and the 'plot'…of green earthy potted colors…

This moving movie, is indeed filled with natural as well as with unnatural delightful scenes of 'Elementals' and of elemental movie beauty.

The team gathers around the cure serum, in a once more 'wicked' -without the hat of witches- story line, of good against the 'WCKD' organisation nation.

From flying buses to flying people, we go through a merry go round of  not so merry men and women, swapping sides, if need be, in order to survive their infernos and wish bone (like our hero does) their way to a safe haven.

To get them there, we accompany the winning actors through ‘winning’ tunnel vision shots, and see them through movements of 'getting there' shots, as well as seeing them through quick 'lets get there' close ups shots. And finally, last but not least on the list of shots, we have the famous flash back and forth camera skips of viewer anticipation shots.

'Strobe' your seat belts on and switch on -I mean off- your mobile lights, in order to focus your lenses on the big screen of this confusing puzzle of a 'Maze', and in order to help the winning team figure out how to 'Escape from Alcatraz'.

This moving movie is indeed filled with natural as well as with unnatural delightful scenes of 'Elementals', and of elemental movie beauty.
