Ram to Heavens above!

     The Rampage of a non rom com of a romp of a rampage movie sets its sights on a few action horrifyingly beautiful scenes.

     From natural organic scenery to the same -except for a few bridge scenes, similar in a way to the ones we saw at the previous review.

     Pacific Rim is not as gorgeously filled with fight scenes of Dino style Animagus hybrids battling their way through the woodlands and building sites of King Kong to find themselves true to who they were once more. In the Rim, the animals need assistance, whilst in Rampage they only require lack of interference.

     This Ram story takes us into the realm of Alice’s growing seeds, and back and forth, from setting to setting, till at last we find the cure and antidote to the 'eat me/drink me' 'yo yo' of growth. Much more organic whole food style content here -than in the Rim!

In Rampage, the genetically engineered 'animaguses' run and save the day -techno style..

It’s a conundrum, I know, but basically, the humans manipulate the animals again and again, till the 'animales' find their revenge and repudiation through nature and the old ways of natural habitat.

Two teams of humans, and one team of growing then 'miniaturised' forest creatures.

Spot the Vamp like Lycan, the dinosaur snake and the lion ape!

From Rim to Ramps,,

Before 

the rampage of Animagus begins, we find ourselves on the rims of our seats in this bigger than life 3D watchable movie: Pacific Rim.

The transformations and transfigurations are the underlying structure in this film.

From Infra-red to blue alien tones, the undertone is about two organic but non-organic sets of creatures battling it out on the movie set.

The hybrid monsters are a mishmash of dinosaur dragons and transformers. But the real monsters are guess who?!

Not many car scenes though except for the bridge fight scene.

Otherwise the scenes are water set and fire toned but mainly icy white of snow.

The snow scene is sword filled with fights but not with sword fish -unfortunately for us..

It’s a slippery slope from machinery to organics and back to technology, in the sense that the monster hybrids are neither happy nor satisfied being manipulated by the bad guys.

Power struggle takes a back seat to the special boom effects of top to toe edited camera work.

Story line seems less prominent here and more so next view vue in Rampage.

Will the setting be more organic at the next review? I certainly do hope so, but the Rim is a good watch for sure!

Animation to Organics..?

This animated film is made of new age hybrid technology and alien forms, as well as elemental natural shapes and colours of long ago.

The story follows a young witch from the mirror of her past ancestors to the discovery of her true powerful self.

Her family and boy friend help her research her genesis powers, leading her from the blueberry forest of ancient trees, bird like cats and familiars, to the explosive special effects of wind, water, earth and smoke/fire.

She discovers her hand symbols through the books of ancient story telling too!..

Her hands are key to opening the portals to genesis and the original creations of nature.

This defeats the hybrid genes of  imprisoned beings and frees them. The right hybrids are hard to find..

The pool of crystal clear waters returns the humans to their freedom too: genesis birth style if you will..

Knowledge of ancient wisdom-s and the realms of united fronts of many old ways, bring the story closer to resolution and to defeating the wicked warlocks and witches -who look for secrecy and empowerment within their 'Potter' like world of  signs and symbols of old times sake.

Nota Bebe: the older the wisdom and magic, the more organic the familiars...the more powerful the results.

1-Watch out for the flying cat and the tree houses of old.

2-Land and water pools collide in this moving picture story.

3-Everything flies by; including the witch's cat and not the original crow!?..

4-The domes of knowledge and adventure fly by the viewers too.

5-The books of discontent become contented once found out just like they do in Beauty and the Beast.

6-The symbols of skin to skin are key to finding the truth of the ancient genesis signs within.

Complex plots -but simple love -undisguised too-

Easter break may be about breakfasts, lunches and sweets, but it is also about dinner time movie treats: 

I and We have two not three for you All this Time;

Music wise and otherwise clock wise, as Mr. A and T would say, the A Team that is, these two films compare and contrast on many levels. 

Their common features are love of Adam Eve for one another in that order, as well as the genetic imprint of the story line.

Will they get together in the end; i.e.: the hero and the her-oine? And the second and the third couples etc...?

Costumes and set designs are very different in @ Cosi Fan Tutti production zillion.com, as well as being very different between the latter film and the other movie: the ‘Zein El Omr’ style fun filled film. ‘La vie est belle dans le film libanais aussi’.  

Music time but first this setting:

From the setting of Coney cones of ice-cream cones outside and inside the hotel California -Italian style mafia ‘ma fey illa him and I later on’, to the Lebanese old style setting of Liban.

Old settings, old story lines of romantic times, but one setting is about big lines of fluid smooth Italian mambo, whilst the other is about detailed minutia lines of village gossip filled stone houses and memorabilia -from the ‘linge’ to the plates and verandas of olden days.

Chandeliers on or off: ‘Beauty and the Beast’ style -while you clink click your glasses to the music of the night.

The costumes are inherently and instinctively fitting of both settings in both films respectively; similar traditional settings in both movies, but contrasting locational settings.

In both films, music is Park friendly and Child friendly too. The main and big differences between the sounds of the two films, are in the ‘do’ ‘re’ ‘me’ (s), as well as in the compositions of the ‘Elite’ musicians.

Mozart may well be about chandeliers and repeat grandiose endings of Romeo and Juliet love bars in Cosi Tutti, but music is ‘Turkishly’ and elegantly delightful in the other production as well.

Each filmic musical composition is interesting.  

No romance in either main melodies, despite the love stories of ‘Cinderellas’ in both productions.

One film tune appeals to the older generation of Eves and Adams, whilst the other appeals to the younger crowd.

By this we mean, Mozart does not use cartoonish like musical notes to hyphen the dialogue -whilst the chandeliers are dinner on or off.
