Grinding reels

Crimes of Rowling’s Genius.

Another genius ‘genie in the box’ production by Harry Potter but not:

This latest film by many talented ‘Potters’, sheds light on a great adventure.

The lamp is lit as we begin the treasure hunt for the blood vial in a cave but not Aladdin’s in this case.

There are many treasures sought by all…

Pure bloods versus muggles or pure bloods versus the good side, in fantastic beasts’ action scenes, all for the glory of power..

The winners and the story line are not as prominent as the amazing special effects.

We are left hanging for more movies to come, at the end of this epic 3D adventure, and in this hunt for ‘The’ vial and for the bad guys’ demise.

The main attractions are the beasts of fire and water and of wind factors of action motion, as they ‘slay’ and ‘wing’ across the scenes and screens. They ‘sing’ and ‘swing’ through musical scores, fighting battles within awesome settings of explosive colours. The beasts are the main attractions for sure dear viewers.

From small magical creatures to big ‘Animagus’ features, we are mesmerised by the action we see on screen and by the glory of the ‘reds’, ‘blues’ and electric colour highs.

The ‘setting rooms’ are a ‘mish mash’ of authentic spell binding ‘Merlin’ style props. They provide us with a great contrast to the external ‘elementals’.

From fire, to water, to wind and then to earth, all of our senses are taken in by the external ‘props’ and by the internal settings as well.

The ephemeral i.e. quick hazy sometimes scenes, take us from subtle prop to prop, as well as from room to room and from action to action. Script kind of a little included -but not too much so…

Props galore in very fast -too fast- sliding door scenes and within shots of moving glory.

‘Pandora’s box’ is full of clues and insignias -leading to more clues and then to the discovery of the enchanting ‘more of the story’.

The origin of the pure bloods is a key point to the factions and to their taking of sides in the plot.

Who will join whom, and who will beat whom, in the final scene of this Star Wars style ‘thou shalt not pass’ wands out and baskets in…production.

The ‘book of spells’ is not foremost in this movie; and not as obvious as the writings on the ‘walls’ or the portals and symbols and vial-(s), etc…The latter are much more prominent than the spells or the magical words out loud.

That’s all for today and tonight dear readers of Lord of the Rings style epic fights.
‘My precious, my precious’ book or ring of spells and portals -wherefore art thou?

The hunt is on…for the props and the clues -be they books and rings or not as the cases of many fascinating portals may be.

Santa Baby

Snowman Cycles and Views-Viewers’ choice:

The winter season is upon us and the cycles are complete. They are too in this epic short-lived adventure at Wonderland London.
This ‘Snowman’ short film, with stylish epic depictions of nature’s beauteous winter season, greets us at Winter Wonderland too!
We start with the living quarters of the young boy and his idea of inspired snow flakes for a snowman. Outside his window and then inside, we find ourselves immersed in wonder of Nature’s wonder…
He builds the snow and greets the man on his living room chair, TV set and all.
The kitchen is reminiscent of cosy and close to home -with pots and tea sets and pans and all.
Merry snowflakes at winter’s door -in London town- ‘Holmes’ style and fun as well as serious dinner settings and tables and chairs -in one of the rooms of this epic adventure.
Many rooms inside and outside the movie set, inside the set and inside the movie projectors.
We walk and sit from living room to dining room -as the snow boy and his new made friend the snowman fly from the living room to the kitchen for a drink of hot coco perhaps -dear readers and viewers…
They fly and twirl from snow to puddle, to forests and woodland settings, and so do we, as we fly across the ‘metaphorical worlds’ of the ‘cycles’ of the movie cameras, into the next room and then the next; inside and and and outside the movie itself.
Warm boots and clothing advised dear adventurers and wandering wanderers, and pipes of smoking sand dunes not required -since the smoke and shadows are provided by the many entrances and lovely staff at winter’s wonder London town land -(Santa) hats and all.
